Tile walk-in shower

Marc Simonelli started in the tile industry as a young man, working for his father’s tile company alongside his brothers and uncles. He later went to work in the tile setters union, where he had the opportunity to learn the latest techniques in tile installation and became a journeyman.

What is most important to our company is that we get it right the first time. We pride ourselves on quality and the ability to meet and exceed our costumers expectations. What sets us apart from similar tile contractors is 3 generations of experience. This is not just a job but a family tradition for over 30 years

Frequently Asked Questions

At Simonelli Tile, Inc., we understand that choosing the right tile contractor involves more than just picking a style or material—it’s about trusting the team that brings your vision to life. Whether you're updating a bathroom, installing a kitchen backsplash, or retiling an entire home or commercial space, it’s normal to have questions about materials, installation, timelines, and maintenance. Below, we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions from our clients to help you feel confident and informed. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact us—we’re always happy to help.

What types of tile do you install?

We install a wide variety of tile materials including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone (like marble, slate, and travertine), glass, mosaic, and luxury vinyl tile (LVT). We’ll help you choose the best tile for your project and space.

How long does a typical tile installation project take?

The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the project, but most residential jobs are completed within a few days. We’ll provide a detailed schedule before we begin.

How do I care for and maintain my tile after installation?

Tile is generally low-maintenance. We’ll provide care instructions, but regular sweeping and occasional mopping with a mild cleaner is usually all that’s needed. We can also seal natural stone and grout for added protection.
